CharterCARE is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician Assistant to join its highly skilled and collaborative team at one of CharterCare Medical Associates outpatient practice sites in the East Greenwich, Rhode Island. In this hospital-employed outpatient position, you will enjoy working alongside a highly skilled collaborative healthcare physician team Monday through Friday with a shared weekend and beeper call coverage an. As an essential part of this team, you will provide primary/specialty care to our interregnal patient community.

CharterCARE Health Partners is a coordinated regional care network comprised of two acute care hospitals, large nursing home facility, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation center, community primary care center, home health service company, an IPA, and a large physician group practice. CharterCARE also operates a school of nursing.  Roger Williams Medical Center (RWMC) along with Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, are exceptional community hospitals which consist of more than 400 beds and 550 medical staff members. RWMC is also a well-respected leader in academic research. Its academic program, which precepts internal medicine students from Brown University and Boston University, has an exceptional transition rate from internal medicine to fellowship. RWMC provides its patients with seamless access to a wide range of physician specialists and outpatient and acute care services.

CLINCIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Rhode Island licensed (or eligible)
• Federal DEA/Rhode Island controlled substance licensed (or eligible)
• Would prefer one or more years of experience
