Our Lady of Fatima Hospital (OLF), a subsidiary of CharterCARE Health Partners (CCHP), is seeking a full-time in-patient / out-patient Psychiatrist to join its collaborative team of providers in North Providence, Rhode Island. CCHP is comprised of two exceptional community hospitals that combine for more than 400 beds and 550 medical staff members. OLF is a University-affiliated teaching hospital that features 71 psychiatry beds and the states only partial hospital program that offers a step-down option to the intensive outpatient program. Also, OLF’s partial hospital program draws on the expertise of one of the region’s leading psychiatric programs and follows our longstanding tradition of close, personal care. We are interested in a provider who puts patient care at the forefront and demonstrates exceptional delivery of quality and compassionate focused healthcare.

In this desirable hospital employed position, you will enjoy working alongside a collegial community of highly trained/skilled multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and behavioral healthcare providers that will participate in the education of residents/medical students. The daytime work schedule is Monday through Friday; with shared rotation call coverage of 1:5 that supports both the Emergency Room and Inpatient Units.

CLINICAL EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONs:

  • Medical trained (MD or DO)
  • Residency trained in adult psychiatry
  • Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry (or eligible) and Rhode Island (or eligible)
  • Federal DEA/Rhode Island controlled substance licensed (or eligible)
