APRN/Nurse Practitioner Infectious Disease - Charm of New England

Summary

Connecticut Health Care Group, LLC, is an internal medicine practice specializing in infectious diseases located in the banks of the Connecticut River in the heart of beautiful Glastonbury, Connecticut.  The practice welcome new graduates or experienced APRN/nurse practitioner for a full-time position. The candidate must have an understanding of LGBTQ health issues with a particular understanding of and empathy for the emotional and physical health of HIV patients. The patient population is 75% male and 25% female.  In addition, our practice provides HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis to people who are HIV-negative but at risk of acquiring HIV.

You will enjoy working alongside a supportive and collaborative clinical team in an outpatient setting comprised of a well-respected esteemed physician, a highly skilled APRN, and an experienced LPN. Your work schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime practice hours with shared rotation call coverage of 1:3 (every third week and weekend). You will also provide inpatient coverage at Manchester Memorial Hospital, an outstanding community hospital leader in Manchester, Connecticut. New graduates are welcome; mentoring provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Connecticut APRN/nurse practitioner license (or soon eligible)
• Federal DEA/Connecticut controlled substance licensed (or soon eligible)
