Summary

Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) hospital system is currently seeking a full-time Family Medicine Residency Program Director to lead the ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program, located in picturesque Manchester, Connecticut.  The faculty program is in its tenth year of advanced teaching, this outstanding community-focused site provides expert clinical and academic training with the collaborative support of a stellar team of five core faculty physicians. The Program Director will lead the Family Medicine Residency Program in administrative operations, clinical supervision, faculty advisement, and with thirty-five percent limited to clinical time. The Family Medicine Program Director will work cohesively with the faculty team, inpatient/outpatient service line leaders, represent the Family Medicine Residency Program on committees, manage curriculum, resident recruitment, and oversee the residency coordinator. This is a 3-year program with 7 residents per year. Requirements:

  • Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with preferred 2 years of core faculty, program director, or assistant program director experience or related academic leadership experience 
  • Connecticut Federal DEA and Controlled Substance License (or soon eligible)
