Chief of Trauma Surgery
Summary
Crozer Health Medical Group (CHMG) has a challenging and rewarding full-time opportunity at a 370 bed tertiary care community teaching hospital for a Chief of Trauma Surgery to lead a group of five Surgical Critical Care boarded Acute Care Surgeons. This is an employed position with the CHMG.
The Crozer Chester Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center that has recently established a freestanding general residency program. The Trauma Center receives approximately 2700 trauma and burn cases per year. The Regional Burn Center is separately covered by employed burn surgeons.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Surgery. The ideal candidate will be surgical critical care trained and Board-Certified in Surgical Critical Care. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and are goal-oriented. This position calls for someone with a strong commitment to education for residents and medical students as well as strong leadership skills.
