Crozer Health System is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to provide clinical services in our Inpatient Burn Wound Care Center.

Position Summary

The Inpatient Burn Treatment Center team is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to treat patients and work closely with our burn surgeons and multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide services to patients of all ages. The Inpatient Burn Treatment Center provides comprehensive services through admission, hospitalization and discharge; as well as providing out-patient follow-up for the duration of their recovery period.  The Crozer Health System has a well-established and highly reputable regional burn center.  As such, the Physician Assistant will respond appropriately and in a timely manner to all burn admissions and burn trauma emergencies, functions as a primary surgical assistant, and will have responsibility for assessment and management of patients including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and the day-to-day implementation and evaluation of an appropriate plan of care.

Crozer Health provides comprehensive burn management, including daily wound care, physical therapy; occupational therapy; psycho-social and recreational support and patient education including re-entry programs to work and school. Our specialists treat patients with acute burns, recovering from burns, undergoing reconstructive surgery, or recovering from a recent episode of major skin loss or injury syndrome that resembles a burn.

Requirements

• Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited Masters Physician Assistant program.
• Candidate should have a current Pennsylvania license. 
• The ideal candidate should have 2 plus years in an Advanced Practice Role, preferably in Burn Care.
